We loved all the little areas you could relax in. Our rooms were next to each other and were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, althouigh we had to share it with the bees! The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, from organising some clothes washing to checking train timetables and arranging taxi transport to the station. We shortened our stay by one night and were not charged. The location of the riad was ideal for accessing the main square and we always felt safe.
Just the bees!
Excellent polite and attentive staff and owner. Lovely, varied breakfast. Easy access to old town. Value for money arranged trips around Marrakech and Atlas foothills. Pleasant rooms and scenic terrace. The one meal we had at the Riad was good value and quality.
Some of the fittings eg shower were a bit tired and needed updating,
It´s an oasis in the middle of the city.Beautifull architecture and restore.A nice place to stay.
Perfect place for romantic visit. Great location, 5 minutes from the main square but quiet. Lovely and very clean rooms designed in Moroccan style. Top terrace overlooking the Medina (Old Town). Very friendly and helpful service. Home made yoghurt and bread for breakfast. Dinner food better than in most restaurants - even in the pricey ones!
Excellent staff, very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Sensational location in the old town and close to main Medina. Good food. The hotel is tucked away in a narrow little alley and you think you will never find it again, however after the first foray out we found our way back and were fine after that. Lovey terraces up the top where you can eat breakfast. There is a safe in the room, and we also felt very comfortable with the honesty and security at the hotel.
Although very nice, not for those wanting five star luxury. If you have an upstairs room there are lots of stairs, however the hotel managed all our luggage.
Staff are friendly and room was clean. Breakfast was good.
They have to Riads. My booking was in the first one but I've been promoted to a suite in the second one. I had to check out from the first one. The distance is not far but I had to walk between the two places many times.
Riad Aubrac was one of four riads we stayed at while in Morocco. The room was large, had a lovely bathroom and living area, and had atmospheric lighting. There were no windows, but this wasn't a problem, given we were out and about most of the day. The roof terrace is very relaxing and well decorated, as were all of the main communal areas. We had a tasty dinner on one of the nights. Staff were very attentive but not introsive. Location is good, situated around 10 minutes from the main place jemaa el fna
There were no windows in our room (the only room on the ground floor).
The French owner is very nice to us. She has decorated the Riad beautifully with attention to every details. She really got a taste and we really find this place like an oasis in the middle of chaos. Highly recommended it if you wanna have a feel about the old medina and how local people live here.
very warm welcome, lovely breakfast and staff very helpful
luckily we spoke french as only one member of staff had decent english, we might have struggled otherwise
Very friendly staff, clean, relax atsmosphere and great location
Very pleasant place in middle of medina with friendly staff
The hotel is very nice and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived sick from a trip to the desert and they were kind enough to prepare special food for us to get better, which was of great help. Our room was very comfortable and always clean. And every morning we were served an excellent breakfast.
Excellent staff catering for all our needs. Very restful Riad. Centrally situated - 5 mins walk to main square. Breakfasts ample, dinners good at both this and sister Riad.Aubrac Oriental. Pleased that we arranged for Riad to organise transport from airport, as would not have located hotel easily. Beautiful roof patios, perfect for breakfast.
Location slightly offputting to us initially, but soon adapted to it and the Marrakech way of life.
Very friendly staff who were really helpful and caring. Nothing was too much of a problem, food fine, air con. worked well and eating in the courtyard was lovely.
Everything about this riad was spot-on. The location was excellent, nestled amongst the winding passages alongside the locals, yet at the same time only a few minutes walk to the centre. The breakfasts were of fantastic quality and mammoth size. The rooms were immaculate and kept so daily. The staff were attentive and charming. The riad was aesthetically lovely with stunning views from the roof-top terrace.
